    Chocolate Gets Another Month

Give us your tired, your weary, your huddled masses yearning to eat chocolate.

Sometimes, when we shout as a group, our calls are heard. The FDA has extended its comment period on changing the legal definition of chocolate for another month -- so you still have time to save our chocolate.

We don't the Chocolate Manufacturers Association getting their sticky fingers in our chocolate...we know too well where those fingers have been.

This isn't just a struggle over chocolate...it's a question of who defines what's in our food? Experts? Or corporate lobbyists who are looking at their financial bottom line more closely than our life line...or our waistline, for that matter.

The fight to save our chocolate may not be the most critical of battles. But, when we win, it will be the sweetest of victories.
