Minimum Security: Billionaires in Space - Featured Commentary

When you hear of the billions of dollars companies like Halliburton receive in no-bid contracts, the billions they waste, "misplace" or keep along the way, the billions that Bush corporatist policies help the least-needy American shelter from proper taxation...well, then you may agree with the premise of this cartoon, "Billionaires in Space."

But I say: keep the billionaires here in America -- just make them pay their fare share. Terrific organizations like the Progressive States Network have plenty of ideas for ways billions can be invested back in our country. And since Progressive States receives funding from Working Assets customers, supporting our work helps support theirs.

Now "Right Wingers in Space"...there's an idea.
