    What Does It Take to Be Discredited In Washington?

    What's really incredible is that 24 hours before Bill Moyers' takedown of pundits like Peter "I Don't Try to Bill Myself As a Middle East Expert" Beinart, PBS featured Beinart on its network as an Iraq expert. Really - what does it take to be discredited in Washington?

    The only way to be discredited in D.C. IMHO is to speak the truth to power and not be afraid to upset the ruling mandarins.

    This is something Beinhart doesn't have to worry about. He wouldn't know honest reporting if it came up and bit him on his ass.

    Other than that one can be a fraud and pin head and still be rewarded by the D.C. establishment as long as you obey the status-quo.
