  I live in Indiana and, frankly, I have no idea what Hayes is talking about when he says Gov. Mitch Daniels has raised taxes and it has contributed to his popularity. Daniels is prvatizing anything he can get his hands on, signed a bill raising taxes on cigarettes passed in the Democrat majority House, but other than that, but other than that, he has done nothing significant to raise taxes. Plus, he has remained steadily below 50% in a GOP dominated state, so he is hardly a role model for the GOP, much less progressives anywhere.
