Senator Salazar Still Supports Gonzales?

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' recent appearance in front of the Senate was just awful. He was completely unable to explain the baldfaced lie he told the nation when he said he was not involved in the politically-motivated firings of eight U.S. Attorneys.

Additionally, despite days upon days of preparing for these hearings, Gonzales seemed to be suffering from severe memory loss; more than 50 times during the hearings, he answered questions with some variant of the phrase "I don't remember."

Yet somehow, according to an April 19th story in the Denver Post, Senator Salazar of Colorado has "...not decided whether to continue supporting...Alberto Gonzales."
