Promoting Democracy One Pint at a Time
In over 200 cities, Drinking Liberally creates informal, social gatherings around progressive politics. This makes sense to us at Working Assets -- we think everything you do can be political...including what phone you use and what credit card you swipe...so why not what bar you frequent?
And we at Drinking Liberally (yes, I'm one of the organizers of DL and its parent organization, Living Liberally) are big fans of Working Assets...not only because they've been supportive partners to us, but because they've proved that a company can carry out its core work while holding onto its core values.
So, wearing both hats, I'm excited that Talking Points Memo ran this special. Shot at the 4th Anniversary Party of DL, this video really shows that Drinking Liberally is only a little bit about the drink...and a lot about building the community bonds that will make a more liberal America.

Ever since those drunk cops crashed into me broke my back and more then Sam Alito covered it up and the cops destroyed me and Debi's life I haven't much use for drunks..liberal or conservative..
Cheers Drinking Liberally. For a west coaster who hasn't spent much time in NYC, Thursday nights at Rudy's has become a welcoming home away from home whenever I'm in town.
