Impeachment: The Great American Pastime
July is one patriotic month. Not only do we celebrate America's independence, but we also celebrate what is probably the most patriotic holiday of them all: The MLB All-Star Game.
This year, however, fans (and hopefully TV cameras) will get a glimpse of something even more patriotic at the game. The Nationwide Movement to Impeach Cheney and Bush group on Facebook has raised enough money to fly a pro-impeachment banner over AT&T Park before the game. God Bless America.
Contribute to this action, if you're feeling it. Or join this effort for free by joining Working Assets' online action and telling your Representative to support legislation to impeach Dick Cheney.
It's just one more way that Americans are showing their colors during this most patriotic month.

The Democrats of Congress and The Senate should walk out and shut down the government, to force the resignations of Bush and Cheney..!
It's the only way if they attempt to play out the subpoenas and or any of these issues before the Supreme Court they will lose and we will lose even more of what little is left of our Republic, due to the Federalist Society now infesting The Justice Dept. and what was our Supreme Court..
The pressure will build if they did this and even some Republicans would eventually fall in to place as well..
Also hopefully the people would take to the streets and demand Bush and Cheney's resignations..
If we do not do something there will be an attack upon Iran and then the book is written and there will be no doubt also The Dictatorship of Bush enacted under NSPD-51..!

Honestly. What does it take to be impeached these days? I'm comforted by the black/white simplicity that a sexual affair clearly constitutes grounds for impeachment. Given that high roading Republican standard, I would think that lying to congress, leading the nation into a war based on false claims, committing treason by betraying our intelligence services, ignoring federal laws regarding public disclosure and giving free passes to traitors would qualify. My bad.
