Who Else Should Get Out Of Jail Free?
Today the White House announced that President Bush has commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby; thus, Libby will not serve any time in prison following his felony convictions on perjury and obstruction of justice charges.
Well, that raises an interesting question -- who else, according to Mr. Bush's standards of justice, should get a get-out-of-jail-free card? I mean, if someone can leak classified information...participate in "outing" a covert CIA operative...and then lie to investigators about it...who else might be deserving of a presidential commutation?
Leonard Peltier? Ehren Watada? Who would YOU noninate for a pardon or commutation?
(Lest we forget, the conservatives impeached a sitting American president for perjury and obstruction of justice, having to do with a stained blue dress and a failed real estate deal. Now, we have a President openly condoning and rewarding perjury and obstruction of justice when it comes to our national security and the identity of a covert operative. The sheer hypocrisy is hard to believe.)

Gen. J.C. Christian, over at the Jesus' General blog, has a couple great suggestions...Two sentences Our Leader refuses to commute.
(Oops, sorry -- it's not the Jesus' General blog anymore...it's now The Official Online Organ of the Glorious Conservative Christian Cultural Revolution. My deepest apologies, JC.)
Nancy Pelosi has doomed our nation by suspending The Constitution as well as the rule of Law with her stupid "Impeachment is off the table" crappolla..
Impeachment is enshrined in the U.S. Constitution..but Speaker Pelosi chooses to violate the Constitution and rule of Law for her own stupid cheap idiot politics..!
WE ARE NOT A NATION OF LAWS, WE ARE A NATION OF LAW MAKERS..!
