VERY URGENT: Save a Life

Today in Texas, Kenneth Foster, a black man who did not commit a capital offense, is set to be executed. This punishment is being carried out for a murder that Foster did not commit.

Foster was in his friends car, approximately 30 meters away, when his friend Mauriceo Brown, who was executed last year, shot Michael LaHood. Due to the Texas "law of parties", an "associate" of a murderer can be found responsible in a murder case and given the death penalty.

This is what has happened to Foster even though "Since Foster's original trial, the other passengers – none of whom was tried under the law of parties – have testified that Foster had no idea a shooting was going to take place." Even the prosecutor, judge and jury of Foster's case admitted that he did not commit murder.

This is a case of complete injustice and racism. Please, help save this man's life. Call Texas Governor Perry at 512-463-2000 and tell him not to execute Kenneth Foster before it's too late.
