    Widget for President!

It's not often that you'll hear us comment on presidential politics on this blog, since Working Assets is a non-partisan corporation. But today I'm happy to be able to congratulate Hillary Clinton's campaign for being the first contender in the 2008 race to include the Rock the Vote & Working Assets Wireless voter registration widget on its website.

Check it out at hillaryclinton.com -- just go to the 'Take Action' menu and select 'Register to Vote.' You'll see the sleek fade in as the voter registration form appears in the same window. People who want to register don't even have to leave the site to complete their application.

One of the aims of creating the widget was to make it easy for anyone to offer voter registration to their website visitors. We're looking forward to seeing the widget appear on the sites of candidates, campaigns and organizations from across the political spectrum. The Clinton camp has laid down the challenge. Who will follow suit and use savvy technology to engage citizens in our democracy?

I can't seem to find any information on how to include the widget on other sites.
