The Death of Two Soldiers
Sgt. Omar Mora and Sgt. Yance Gray died on Monday. In a war with no mission, no measure for victory and no end in sight, there are going to be many deaths. These two resonate in a particular way given the courage these soldiers showed just weeks ago when they wrote an op-ed offering a different view of the battlefield than the cheerful reports Americans were hearing from elected officials who had toured Iraq's Potemkin Villages.
Think Progress has more.
It's time to end this war.
Discussion
this is incredibly sad.
They are true heroes.
They upheld their oaths as American soldiers and also their duty as American citizens.
Soldiers of this caliber don't deserve to be sold out by their leaders like they have been.
