The War in Iraq is Going So Well -- Let's Invade Iran Too!

Senators Joe Lieberman (whom I just love to hate) and John Kyl have introduced an obscene amendment to the defense authorization bill that is expected to come up for a vote today. This sense of the Senate amendment -- which is based almost entirely on false premises -- would open the door to U.S. military operations in Iran. Lieberman and Kyl obviously think that things are going so swimmingly in Iraq that it's a great idea to drop some bombs (and a few billion more tax dollars) on its neighbor.

These guys are nuts. They've obviously been drinking the same Kool-Aid that Bush and Cheney have been throwing back for years. Don't let your senators go over to the dark side -- call your senators today at 202-224-3121 and tell them to vote NO on the Kyl-Lieberman amendment, No. 3017!
