100 Dirty Coal Plants
The Sierra Club's anti-coal campaign has now helped stop 100 coal plants. Check it out here..
CREDO Action has worked on more than 70 of these same campaigns - it often takes many groups working over many years to stop the coal industry. Of course, the single easiest way would be to hold the coal industry accountable now for the CO2 emissions they produce. If we cannot stop the expansion of coal, we cannot stop global warming. Period.
An excellent way to evaluate any plan or legislation to fight global warming is to look at its impact on the use of coal.
Discussion
Sometimes, I try to imagine what you folks do when you're not putting forth ignorant comments about various issues. I think I've finally figured it out: you systematically bash yourselves over the head with bats and declare it a cure for headaches so you'll be well-practiced for the coal debate. After all, you must get practice declaring that what harms us is good for us from SOMEWHERE.
