    I Agree With Carl Pope on Nuclear Power

    The Senate advocates of nuclear power basically want taxpayers to pay for the construction of 100 new nuclear power plants and let any profits go to shareholders. That is a real bailout!

    Whereas the Senate advocates for "green energy" basically want taxpayers to pay for expensive power facilities that are laughably incapable of providing even a fraction of the power that a modern society requires and let any profits go to the "green" companies whose well-paid lobbyists got them a feeding place at the government slop trough. That is a real deal!

    At least the nuclear power advocates want to eliminate coal with a proven alternative instead of a pipe dream.
