  When you are a member of a ruling elite that makes it's business what people do in their bedrooms, it is impossible to be your true self. Indeed a member of this group cannot simply go down to the local gay bar and find a boyfriend. Instead these men get married, have children and then sneak off to master obscure and complex rituals for the purpose of getting sexual pleasure in cramped public bathroom stalls smelling and listening to dozens of other people excrete waste. How dehumanizing.
