Funny, but please never show Rudy in a dress again. Agh!
And is it just me, but it seems whenever a journalist on tv asks a McCain supporter (or most conservatives in general) about any topic - Iraq, the economy, Palin comments, Obama comments, etc. - they always laugh. Someone will say to Fiorina or Giuliani or David Brooks, "What do you think of Obama ideas versus McCain's ideas" or "What do you think of Palin's comments" or whatever)? And they'll start with a big smirk and say,"Well, hahaha, those liberals certainly have wild imaginations, haha".
It's as if this whole process of trying to bring our country up, and improve the lives of most if not all Americans, not just the richest, is nothing but a comedy sketch to them. It's just a long, drawn out joke that they can't help but shrug their shoulders, put their palms facing up in the air, and chuckle.
Small town values, eh? Well, I live in a small town (population under 500, technically not even a town, just a post office with some outbuildings). and the dominant political opinion here is "Why don't those rich &*(%$^% and their pet politicians just shut the @$%# up and let us live our lives?"
Around here, "Conservative" means "anti-development", "anti-rich-people", and "pro-environment". Heck, Wal-Mart wasn't even able to build a store here because the county government deliberately sabotaged them.
Would your average Washington Conservative get behind those small-town values? Would a Washington Conservative actually sabotage a mega-corporation's efforts at expansion in the name of preserving the environment and protecting the rural lifestyle?
It would be interesting to find out, no?
By the way, I agree with Mr Davis - NEVER show Giuliani in that outfit again.
His complexion calls more for cool colors, I think. :)
