    Health Care and Blog Maintenance

In health care news today, the Wall Street Journal has an interesting writeup of Holland's newly reformed national health care plan. Some of the changes sound pretty innovative, others sound potentially rife with problems. But it's definitely interesting.

More locally, the Grand Junction Sentinel reports that some legislators are starting to say we may not get health care reform in Colorado in 2008, despite a statewide health care commission getting ready to release its recommendations.

Oh, and some housekeeping: As I mentioned over at the Denver Post's site, posting is going to be light for me over the next few weeks, because I am on book deadline and because I am launching the Creators Syndicate column (it starts next week). I won't be doing my occasional posts over at the Post's site, primarily because fending off libel from the Post's irrelevant right-wing mouthpiece is just a bit too labor intensive to do a) for free and b) while I'm on book deadline (but rest assured, I'll get back to that in October when the book is done). That said, I will still be maintaining daily operations over here at home (aka. Working Assets) - and will still do some stuff over here when I can.

    Onward!
