If it wasn't so tragic, it'd be funny. It sounds like satire, rather than a serious piece. How did this inarticulate uncaring boob get to be considered a pundit?
Oh, yea, I forgot, the corporate media doesn't use ethics or competency for a criteria any more, a long as the talking head spouts the party line, rather like a fountain spouting polluted water.

Oh noooo...not Tom bleeping "Fingernails on the Blackboard" Flatworld Friedman" again.

Talk about thinking globally and acting locally, but this blowhard and other "Serious" authors like him help stoke the fires on the war on the middle class. TF wins the Corporate Welfare Darling Award -- Or is it the "Corporate Welfare Darwin Award"?

Next week, a new corporate welfare sponsored lobbying campaign with a rally of protestors who want more H-1b visas are planning to actually storm the D.C. Washington Monument next Tuesday, 9/18.

This, while middle class professionals here are facing a recession, the housing market hits the skids, jobs are disappearing and wages continue to plummet...and corporations need MORE H-1b visas because??? Tell us the story again?

This political action campaign is called "Immigration Voice"

What are our local/national elected officials doing about this? 'Business' at the trough as usual.

Which part of this statement doesn't Thomas Friedman understand he needs a fat helmet on his fat head kicking in doors so that all the media can play a part in this war that they love so much. One thing the Iraqis were correct in assuming is that if every America was like Friedman they wouldn't have worry fighting anyone because he isn't going. Anybody who doesn't think that you can't lay the war in Iraq on the supposed liberal paper should see this statement from their "his head is flat" lead reporter.

Sorry. But Friedman's drivel would be no more acceptable if he was living out of a '90 Chevy.

The villains here, mostly the NYTimes, are those who make a business of parading voluminous nonthought.
